‘A Style for Every Story: sur-vey 1,’ an Exhibition collection of donated jeans at FAU’s Jupiter Campus Library

The free exhibition runs through Friday, August 12 at FAU’s John D. MacArthur Campus Library Gallery, 5353 Parkside Drive, Jupiter. For more information on the exhibition, go towww.library.fau.edu/npb/npb.htm or call 561-799-8530.

The exhibition of 77 pairs of jeans, five pairs of jean shorts and a jean jacket is a collaboration between the general public and AdrienneRose Gionta, an interdisciplinary artist and curator. The exhibition includes a five-minute video about body image and the psychology of jeans video titled “Do These Make Me Look Fat?” and an installation of her jeans titled “4XL.” Jeans contributed and used in the exhibition will be donated to a good cause after it closes. Gionta, an FAU alumna, also is an assistant director a the University Galleries at FAU. The library’s hours are Sundays from 12:30 to 9 p.m.; Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m.
